Travel:

There are 240 flights a day that arrive at Ted Stevens Anchorage airport so finding a flight to suit your schedule will not be difficult.  If you live outside of the United States of America you will need to make enquiries as to whether or not you will require a visa to travel to Alaska.

Once you have landed in Anchorage, it is important to note that hotels in Anchorage do not offer an airport shuttle service, however, there are an abundance of taxis that will be able to assist with transport to and from the airport to the hotel.

DISCOVER ANCHORAGE

If you are looking for an amazing adventure a visit to Anchorage is a must. It’s no wonder when you visit a city that has 60 glaciers within 50 miles of downtown, a salmon stream in the heart of the city, 300 miles of wilderness trails and one of the largest state parks in its backyard. By day, dog sled across an icy glacier, take in the beauty of the surrounding six mountain ranges, spot an abundance of wildlife or visit the Anchorage Museum and the Alaska Native Heritage Centre to experience the culture of Alaska’s first people.
By night, you can experience a hip, metropolitan vibe, enjoy a dining scene abundant with fresh-caught seafood and the frontier spirit of Alaska’s largest city.

Anchorage combines the best of Alaska in a city that has the comforts of home and the hospitality of the Last Frontier.
