EAR REFLEXOLOGY- A POWERFUL APPROACH TO EMOTIONAL TRAUMA RELIEF
To address Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, it is imperative to understand what happens in the brain when a person experiences a traumatic event. Ear Reflexology uses specific protocols on the outer ears to calm the deeper regions of the brain and help to relieve symptoms of PTSD, including anxiety and depression.
This presentation first reviews the function of the prefrontal cortex, the different parts of the limbic system and the brainstem and its importance in trauma. Each individual ear point of a specific protocol for PTSD, with detailed information about their functions relating to trauma, and their locations on the ear, will be introduced. PTSD client case documentation along with testimonials will be presented.
Ear reflexology for PTSD is a powerful addition to foot and hand reflexology. These ear protocols have proven to be extremely effective, showing impressive results partially because of the specific points on the ears for different parts of the brain, as well as using ‘Masterpoints’ and ‘Functional Points’.
A discussion with conference delegates will focus on how to best implement the PTSD ear protocol into a foot and hand reflexology session.
