HELGA DITTMAN (GERMANY)
As a pedagogue, with a university-diploma-degree, Helga Dittmann participated in different Reflexology Trainings, such as the “Flocco Method Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology“, and post-graduate-trainings. She has given reflexology and therapeutic sessions in her own clinic, as a naturopath (Heilpraktiker), since 1990.
For 30 years she has taught reflexology, Metamorphic Method and massage for professionals. Helga Dittmann was one of the founders of the German Reflexology Association and also part of founding RiEN (Reflexology in Europe Network). In both organizations she was Chair for 3-5 years.
Through experience with reflexology and different psychotherapetic method she has developed Emotional Release Reflexology and successfully works with this method in therapeutic use and teaching.
She also gives courses in Family Constellations, Relaxation and Stress Management Training.
PAUL HARVEY (USA)
An experienced Clinical Reflexologist, member of ICR and the American Reflexology Certification Board, Paul serves on the board of directors for the World Reflexology Foundation and several other health related organizations.
He has been a speaker at state and national Reflexology conferences across America, and has taught his unique workshops through Bill Flocco’s American Academy of Reflexology in Los Angeles since 2005. Recently he has been featured in Prevention Magazine discussing the role of Reflexology for Asthma.
Paul has maintained a thriving Reflexology practice for 40 years, working for over 20 of those years as the Reflexologist with a team of five Medical Doctors at the world renowned Whitaker Wellness Medical Clinic in Southern California.
With extensive experience as a Clinical Reflexologist, Paul has created and teaches a variety of “Condition Specific Technique”™ workshops, integrating Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology with modified Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation.
The fundamental purpose of CST workshops is to provide professional Reflexologists with the confidence, tools and instruction to deal with specific chronic and degenerative diseases and conditions based on many years of clinical practice.
MARIANN FREED (UNITED KINGDOM)
After obtaining a BA degree in teaching Music and Performing Arts in Hungary, Mariann settled down in London and worked in the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) World Service for 12 years. The last 7 years of this time she worked in the English by Radio Department broadcasting programmes Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
In 1996 Mariann embarked on a very different journey in holistic therapies by becoming an Aromatherapist, Licensed by the London School of Aromatherapy. In 1999 she became a full-time practitioner of Aromatherapy and qualified as a reflexologist in Ann Gillanders’ British School of Reflexology in 2000.
Mariann had the great fortune of meeting Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson in 2001 and becoming her student in 2002. She has never stopped learning from her, gradually becoming one of her assistants, working closely with Martine in her clinic in London and travelling with her when she taught abroad.
Mariann has been a Licenced Teacher of Cranio-Sacral Reflexology since 2010 and is a member of the CSRI Academy of Excellence, the Association of Reflexologists (UK), the Metamorphic Association and the ROSSITER System. She is currently the Director of the CSRI Academy of Excellence and UK Coordinator of ICR.
ARVE FAHLVIK (NORWAY)
Arve started with reflexology in 1997 and has been a teacher of the Karl Axel Lind method of reflexology and full-body reflexology since 2005.
He has served as a Board member of the International Council of Reflexologists since 2017, with the responsibility of the research committee. Arve was Vice chairperson of RiEN from May 2011 to May 2013 and a Board member of the Norske Naturterapeuters Hovedorganisasjon (NNH) from May 2005 to May 2009. He was Leader of the group for full-body reflexology in NNH from its start in 2005 until 2016.
Arve is the initiator of the Definition Reflexology and the related International Reflexology Teachers Conference project, a joint initiative with ICR. He sees himself primarily as a teacher of teachers.
He is also a practitioner of karate, kobudo, aikido, snowboard, diving. Arve lives in Haugesund, Norway and speaks Norwegian, English, and is currently learning Japanese.
ORLANDO VOLPE (ITALY)
Orlando Volpe is a Doctor of Physiological Sciences and Techniques, wellness operator and trainer and consultant in the personal and professional growth sector for companies. He holds courses in Italy and abroad.
He is an expert in the Enneagram and in the application of neuroscience to the commercial and sales sectors, together with techniques to counteract stress for employees and managers.
For the wellness sector he is a trainer and consultant, SPA manager, teacher of Reflexology since 2003 , creator of Reflex Corporea and instructor of Stretching Shiatsu.
He has written two books on reflexology: Atlas of plantar reflexology with Giorgio Cusin (2016) and Atlas of the nervous system in reflexology which will be released in Italy in November 2020
From 2013 to 2015 he has been Vice Chair of Rien (Reflexology in Europe Nexus).
STEFANIE SABOUNCHIAN (USA)
Stefanie Sabounchian is a National Certified Reflexology Educator with NCRE, teaching Foot Hand Ear Reflexology throughout the US as well as internationally in both English and German language.
She has been a certified Reflexologist & Auriculotherapist with a private practice in Southern California for over 19 years. Stefanie was originally trained in Foot Reflexology in 1996 in Germany, where she was born and raised.
After coming to the United States in 2000, she became certified in Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology at the American Academy of Reflexology in Los Angeles and with the ARCB in 2003. She was certified by the Auriculotherapy
Certification Institute with Terry Oleson in 2013.
Stefanie is past president of the Reflexology Association of California. She is current vice president of the World Reflexology Foundation and serves on the board of directors of the Reflexology Association of America. She also is a published author of the book series of Press Here! Reflexology for Beginners.
