Lorraine Senior B.Ed(Hons) MAR ICR is an award winning (AoR excellence award Innovation in Reflexology 2016) UK based Reflexologist. She has over 20 years' experience working as a teacher supporting children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Complex Needs and is now working as a fulltime Reflexologist and Tutor.

Bringing together her teaching knowledge and reflexology experience she has developed and initiated Functional Reflex Therapy as a Reflexology Approach supported with the unique FRT tool kit as an object of reference to aid those with communication issues, specifically to work within the school environment as a timetabled therapy. Encouraging children to be in a better state of mind to help them to prepare for ongoing activities and learning.

Lorraine continues to deliver Reflexology within the special school environment 2 days a week working as part of the multi-disciplinary team and visits several residential homes for adults with additional needs within the community.

She has created and presents a CPD approved training course to share and support those Reflexologists looking to develop their business within the school system or other challenging environments using the structured framework of Functional Reflex Therapy which is now being successfully delivered in schools around the UK.

Lorraine has written articles featured in the SEN Magazine, SEND Magazine, Autism Eye, Education for Everybody and Optimus Education. Her vision is for Reflexology using the Functional Reflex Therapy Approach to be available in every school supporting the wellbeing and mental health of children.
